What You’ll Be Doing

- Track progress over time, adjusting instruction based on each student’s pace and goals.
- Partner with parents to create a comprehensive learning plan that aligns with classroom standards while promoting at-home growth.

How You’ll Work
This is a fully remote role that adapts to your schedule and location. You’ll connect with students over a modern tutoring stack that includes Zoom, Google Classroom, and whiteboarding tools like Miro and Jamboard. We move quickly, but you’ll always have space to focus intensely and prepare thoughtfully. Each session is a fresh opportunity to change the way a student experiences learning.

What You Bring
- A deep understanding of at least two academic subjects at the middle or high school level—you simplify complex ideas, whether it’s over Zoom or a shared screen.
- Experience in remote teaching or tutoring that reflects your ability to build rapport across a screen.
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility—you meet students where they are, not where you expect them to be.
- A commitment to academic integrity and equity in education.
- Tech fluency: you navigate digital tools effortlessly and help students do the same.
Bonus Points For
- Certification or licensure in education or tutoring (state-issued or from recognized platforms).
- Experience with test prep, including SAT, ACT, GRE, or state assessments.
- Background in special education or ESL instruction.
- Familiarity with personalized learning software or adaptive learning platforms.
