Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and format a wide range of immigration forms, including I-130, I-485, I-765, I-601, and more, ensuring compliance with USCIS requirements
  • Use document automation platforms such as LawYaw and Gavel.io to reduce manual errors and accelerate processing times
  • Create persuasive affidavits, letters of support, and legal arguments tailored to various visa types, including employment-based, family-based, and humanitarian cases

Client Communication

  • Interact with clients using secure communication tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the legal process
  • Conduct virtual client onboarding and manage expectations through legal CRMs such as HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Handle sensitive immigration information with professionalism and discretion, ensuring all client interactions are documented and confidential

Case Management

  • Maintain organized digital files through legal case management software like Clio and MyCase
  • Use platforms like Trello, Monday.com, and Asana to manage deadlines, tasks, and documentation across multiple cases simultaneously
  • Track case progression and flag delays using customized dashboards, ensuring clients receive timely updates

Compliance & Research

  • Conduct in-depth legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and governmental portals to support case strategies
  • Monitor changing immigration laws and procedures, particularly from USCIS, DHS, and EOIR, and integrate updates into internal legal processes
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and GDPR data protection laws, contributing to internal audits and data handling protocols
