Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Trend Forecasting

• Stay ahead of fashion trends through comprehensive market research.
• Monitor consumer behavior and purchasing habits to anticipate demand.
• Keep a close eye on industry reports, influencer insights, and runway events.
• Identify market gaps and propose innovative, trend-conscious collections.

Merchandising & Product Selection

• Curate unique, fashion-forward assortments that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with suppliers, designers, and buyers to source high-quality apparel.
• Ensure product offerings cater to various styles, demographics, and preferences.
• Develop strategic pricing models to balance profitability and market competitiveness.

Vendor Relations & Collaboration

• Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to optimize product availability.
• Work alongside marketing and sales teams to enhance product promotions.
• Support eCommerce teams in optimizing product listings with high-quality visuals and compelling descriptions.

Inventory & Sales Performance

• Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock without over-purchasing.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and markdowns.
• Use data-driven insights to improve merchandising effectiveness and profitability.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with branding and marketing teams to align product messaging.
• Provide valuable feedback to design teams based on consumer insights and trends.
• Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across merchandising efforts.
• Assist customer service teams by integrating customer feedback into product improvements.
