Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Driving: Operate company vehicles (including sedans, SUVs, or vans) to transport clients or goods safely and efficiently to designated locations within and around Mumbai.
- Route Planning: Use GPS systems and knowledge of local roads to plan the best and fastest routes while avoiding traffic congestion and roadblocks.
- Client Service: Maintain professionalism at all times when dealing with clients. Offer friendly and courteous service to ensure a positive travel experience.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the relevant department.
- Compliance with Traffic Laws: Follow all local traffic laws, speed limits, and road regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and others on the road.
- Punctuality and Reliability: Arrive on time for shifts, maintain schedules, and consistently meet or exceed deadlines for pickups and drop-offs.
- Record Keeping: Keep detailed logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance tasks, and submit reports as required by the management team.
- Customer Queries: Assist passengers with luggage, provide information about routes and destinations, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of driving experience, ideally within Mumbai. Prior work as a personal driver, cab driver, or transport operator is highly preferred.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Indian driving license, and knowledge of local traffic laws is essential.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Language: Fluency in Hindi is required. Basic knowledge of English and Marathi is an advantage.
