Job Description:
As a Car Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods to their destinations while providing exceptional customer service. Your primary duties will include:
- Safe Transportation: Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport passengers and goods to various destinations within Ahmedabad and surrounding areas. Adhere strictly to traffic rules and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and fellow motorists.
- Route Navigation: Utilize knowledge of local routes and GPS navigation systems to determine the most efficient and timely routes. Adapt quickly to changes in traffic conditions or road closures to minimize delays and ensure on-time arrivals.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to passengers at all times. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle and handle any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate department for timely repairs.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily trips, mileage, and fuel consumption. Submit required reports and documentation promptly to the designated supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety, including seat belt usage, speed limits, and vehicle cleanliness. Maintain a clean and organized interior and exterior of the vehicle at all times.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by Gujarat’s Regional Transport Office (RTO).
- Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record with no history of significant traffic violations or accidents is required.
- Experience: While prior experience as a professional driver is preferred, we welcome applications from enthusiastic individuals willing to learn and grow in the role.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in Gujarati and/or Hindi are essential. Basic proficiency in English is an added advantage.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to sit for extended periods and lift heavy luggage if required.
- Age and Gender: Candidates must be between 18 and 60, and male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
